Older Rock Clan members proudly carry the younger ones on their heads, and as they grow, roots sprout from their bodies. Once the roots are big enough, the older rocks carefully lay out their young ones on the ground, allowing their roots to connect with surrounding rocks to form limbs. The chisel tattoos on Roland's body speak volumes about the respect earned in the Rock Clan. The more tattoos a rock has, the more respected they are in the Clan.
