Globaris

Globaris, the capital city of the axolotl, is built out of floating spheres in a vast swamp. Higher spheres receive more sunlight, allowing plants to grow abundantly. These plants are used to create pigments, which serve as the city’s currency. In the lower spheres, where sunlight is scarce, poverty prevails. Here, plants struggle to grow, and insects consume what little remains, creating the city’s slums.
